Last Christmas my family and I went to California in our Bischoff Flair RV. It was a horrible experience. Because the RV has a bathroom, my dad would not let us get out of the car to use the restroom. So, during the entire time the RV smelled of poop and pee. Also, my younger sister would not help with the driving so my dad and I had to drive the entire time. The RV is very big so parking anywhere was a huge issue. We could not really go to a lot of places, and because of that we could not have a lot of fun on the drive. Even when we got to California, our friends out there didn’t like the RV because it was too big and ugly. So, they didn’t let us park near their house. So we had to find a RV parking lot, which was very expensive and very far.
I used to be the type of person who does not prepare for the future I used to be more of the live-in-the-moment kind of guy because I had the belief that life is too short and that you can never really do anything about it once something is bound to happen. That is why sometime back I don’t believe in owning any insurance policy. But this thinking changed after I was hospitalized for more than a week because of kidney disease. My savings were all spent I had no idea that it costs a lot when you get sick hence, immediately after I was discharged from the hospital, I asked my friend to set up a meeting with me and her agent so I can purchase a health insurance policy right away.
Furthermore, I want something with full coverage just in case something happens. Life really has a way on teaching us things unfortunately I had to learn the lesson the hard way but at least I took the hint and rectified the situation immediately.
Every year while I was growing up we would travel around to look at Christmas lights.
