Buying an iPod touch may be an easy decision for other people, but not for me. I cannot let go of the dollars I spent so much effort and time earning. But ever since Apple came out with the iPod, I’ve been hooked and I just can’t help upgrading to the newest models. Needless to say, my first buy was expensive as hell (considering the price I pay for a CD player). It’s a good thing that the second time I bought an iPod, I became a bit more patient, just to see if I can get a new one at a lower price. There has been online gossip that there are ways to get the real deal at a better price. While a 10% discount is a welcome respite, a 20% discount is just so much better. So I lurked patiently hoping to find the deal to beat. Short story, I got what I wanted.
If you are looking for a cheap iPod touch, I definitely would recommend not jumping in line for the newest model on the first day of release. You’ll never get a better price that way. Personally, I’ll choose to upgrade 6 or so months later so that I can save a couple of hundred dollars.
