Right now I only have two clear work areas in the kitchen and no good place to put appliances, a dish rack, or even cute decorations. As a work around I use two kitchen carts that I put my microwave and stand up mixer on. However, I would love more counter space in my kitchen to put a toaster or blender on. In addition, when I cook the lack of counter space gets in the way and makes it a cramped process. Most certainly no one could help me cook even if they wanted to with only two clear counter work areas. If I were to build in more counter space I would also love to change the type of counter top to granite instead of the hard to clean tile I have right now.
